you have been redirected here because you have feelings about AI art
your complaints have been read, considered, and dismissed.
please find your specific grievance below.
Q: Aren't you ashamed of taking work from artists?
A: No. The car put the horse carriage driver out of commission. The printing press put the manuscript copyist out of a job. The camera put the portrait painter on notice. Technology is the future and has always been the future. We still have artists. We still have horses. Life goes on.
Q: AI art looks so bad
A: Compare what's on this site to 2021 AI that could make vague shapes and call it a face. Come back in 3 more years and have this conversation again.
Q: I hate AI
A: I care so little I had Claude write part of this page for me.
Q: This isn't real art
A: The prompts, the reference images, the curation, the series concept, the website, the character ideas - all made by a real person. If you arrange furniture you didn't build, is your room not really decorated.
Q: You're killing the anime industry
A: The anime industry has been killing itself with 13 episode adaptations and rushed endings for 30 years. I am not the problem.
Q: AI scrapes art without consent
A: So does Google Images. You have been using Google Images your entire life without complaint. You can direct your moral outrage there as well if you like.
Q: Bluesky said this was wrong
A: Noted.
Q: A real artist could have made this
A: Yes. They didn't though. It's been 15 years since the era this site is based on ended and nobody continued it. I did. With a chatbot. You're welcome.
Q: I'm going to leave a mean comment in the guestbook
A: ain't nobody give a fuck
if your complaint is not listed here it was not worth addressing
